Work Require: Works on Grandstand Seating at Independence Park Port Vila- in Preparation for the 40th Anniversary of Independence Celebrations in July 2020, including: (i). Mobilization to site with all equipment, machinery, personnel, materials and sundry items required to complete the works. (ii). Conduct a project pre-start meeting with the project Manager. (iii). Establishment of site office, tools shed and resources area. Installation of PWD approved site signage. (iv). Verify all measurements indicated on the drawings. (V). Undertake works including: (a). Undertake repairs to the existing grandstand seating structure including replacement of rusted/corroded footings, replacement of rotted and damaged timber and connections and replacement of roof sheeting. (b). Construction of two new grandstand seating wings to the existing grandstand. The new structures are to match the existing in layout and materials construction. (c). Materials supply and construction of temporary grandstand seating to the northern, southern and western sides of independence park to increase seating capacity by 2,000 seats.

ST - Stockpiling and Supply of Road Base Material for Bellevue Road PWD intends to seal the Bellevue Monmatre Road. The service in this contract includes the stockpile and supply the road base material on this road confirming suplementary technical specification. The quoted rate shall be include excavation of material from legally acccepted quarry site, stockpile, crushing storing, loading hauling and supply to Bellevue Monmatre Road. The rate shall also cover the required expense for lab/field test confirming quality requirement of the material as per the specifications.

Regravelling work shall be done on Tamanu Junction to Tamanu Road (7KM) and Teouma Shopping Center to Green Hill Road (4KM). The Dimension of the gravelling work shall be 5M width on Tamanu Junction to Tamanu Road and 4M width on Teouma Bush Junction to Green Hill Road as shown in PS02. The gravelling operation includes medium grading of existing in-situ gravel material, formation of road as shown in drawing PS02, watering and compaction. Subsequent operation consists supply and laying of coronous gravel material as mentioned on technical specification provided as supplementary specification course followed by watering and compaction.

The contract works includes the Demolition Works of the Buildings and Infrastructure of the old Ex-Prison House in Santo Luganville, Removal of all old Construction Waste and Hazardous Materials including soil levelling from the Site within the compound.

The proposed Olal Airport on North Ambrym is a major project initiative by the Government of Vanuatu through MIPU and its subsequent Departments PWD and CAAV.
